In 2000, I had the opportunity to have lunch with business leaders in the commercial real estate field. It was during this lunch that they posed the question, "Have you ever thought about going into business for yourself?"
The honest answer to the question was, "It had never crossed my mind."
By this time, I had spent 15 years in the commercial construction field. Ten years with a large national developer and 5 with a boutique builder primarily serving established corporate clients.
As a lot if things in life, it came down to timing. In this case, it was the right time to take the initiative and start a business. I sit here now thinking, "Where have the last 23 years gone?" As with all businesses, it’s the relationship with our customers and vendors that have made the last 23 years a success.
I would like to thank all who have participated in the growth of Commercial Construction Group.
Dan Taylor has stepped into the position of President and owner of Commercial Construction Group as of January 2023. We welcome him, as he is ready for his opportunity. He will take great care of you and your project. Bill looks forward to working in the over all business management area.
